This new trail shoe from Skechers is built for speed. The GOrun Speed TRL Hyper features the brand’s highly responsive Hyper Burst cushioning, a durable Goodyear rubber traction outsole, and an injected nylon forefoot plate which provides impact protection and increased torsional stability. Saucony / Canyon TR

Offering a smooth ride from road to trail and back again, the Canyon TR is a crossover style with dirt-friendly traction that still rides smooth on the road. It has low-profile lugs, PWRRUN cushioning for soft responsiveness and an engineered mesh upper reinforced with a thin, flexible 3D-printed film for protection and durability. MSRP $120.

Altra / Superior 4.5

Designed to be an adventurous, trail-ready speedseeker, the Superior 4.5 is both lightweight and loaded with a MaxTrac sticky rubber outsole. This hybrid trail running shoe from 361 Degrees combines style and performance and is designed for on- and off-road adventures. The shoe has a sturdy mesh upper and features 361’s MORPHIT Heel Lock, a pull-cord heel design that keeps the rearfoot secure.
